BECOME A MEMBERRooted in Babaji’s Teachings
Babaji’s Gītā lecture series in Hindi is called Gita Aur Hamara Jivan — “Gītā and our Daily Life.” This weekly discussion is aligned with that.
What is this group?
Bhagavad Gītā in Daily Life is a free weekly discussion group led by Babaji’s disciple and Vedic Psychologist, Dr. Joshi, guiding the group members to explore how the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gītā can be understood and applied in our everyday lives.
How it works
Each week, Dr. Joshi selects one or two meaningful quotes from Babaji’s most recent Sunday lecture and guides the group in reflecting on them together. Rather than simply studying the teachings intellectually, we take time to introspect, share, and explore what these teachings mean in our own lives, relationships, challenges, and choices.
Have you ever wondered...
Every session is more than a book discussion - it's a journey into self-awareness, healing, and deep wisdom.
1
Live readings & heartfelt discussion
Dr. Joshi reads aloud from the page, weaving Vedic wisdom into real-life lessons — sometimes humorous, sometimes humbling, always eye-opening.
2
Slow, deep learning
Wisdom isn't rushed here. Insight is absorbed, reflected upon, and lived. Continue the conversation on our online discussion board between sessions.
3
Beyond the page
Each chapter becomes a living case study - childhood echoes in adult anxiety, codependency, and attachment. Insight becomes integration.
We're resting until November 2026.
The Book Club is on a seasonal break and will resume in Fall 2026. In the meantime, you can watch the entire first series - 30 recorded sessions on Toxic Parents - on our YouTube playlist.

Lessons Learned From My Guru,
The Hard Way
Dr. Joshi shares personal stories from life on the road with her guru, Sri Satyanarayana Dasa Babaji. Riddled with humor — jealous bosses, caffeine, loss, love, the silent treatment — and the mysterious ways wisdom is revealed.
“A gem of a book — engrossing testimony of one person's spiritual journey from ignorance to enlightenment, from confusion to self-awareness, from self-loathing to love."
