The Cat

The Sahasik's are represented by the Bengal cat because like a cat, Sahasik's are very adventurous, curious, and cunning. The popular Mughal dynasty miniature paintings often depict animals in dynamic motion, suggesting an artistic appreciation for movement and energy. A nimble, adventurous cat that leaped across palace courtyards was often admired for its agility and independence.

Adventurous

Cats love to explore new environments and are natural explorers. They have excellent spatial memory can easily remember the layout of their environment, and how to find their way back home even when they venture dozens of miles away. Cats are agile and have a superb sense of balance, which allows them to climb and jump to high places, adding to their sense of adventure. Being independent goes hand-in-hand with being adventurous as cats like to go solo on their escapades. The popular saying that, “cats have nine lives,” rings true in that they are able to survive the dangerous situations that their adventurous nature gets them into.

Curious

Cats are known for their curious and inquisitive nature. They are attracted to new objects, movement, sounds or smells. There is certainly some truth to the old saying, “curiosity killed the cat,” as their curious nature can sometimes get our feline friends into trouble. For example, when they climb into small spaces that are irresistibly interesting and get stuck, or when they fall from high places. But that doesn’t dampen their curiosity. Cats are resilient animals and bounce back quickly, ready for their next adventure.

Cunning

Cats are often considered to be cunning animals and have a reputation for being clever and sneaky. They are known for their ability to stalk and hunt prey, and they often use their intelligence to outsmart their prey. Cats also tend to hide or conceal themselves, and they may use this ability to surprise or ambush animals or humans.
